Leap 2020

Four times around the sun since I started these pages. The last time I posted on a leap day was the day before Echo arrived in the world. Very glad to report that we’re all still here - the seven Smiths - alive and well - happy as clams, only sometimes kicking and/or screaming. And once again, I can reflect today with near disbelief at just how much has changed over the arc of those years. What our jobs look like, what our home looks like, the grey hairs and the fine lines - a quick glance alone will confirm that passage, its rewards and its toll.

We jumped in 2016, we’ve taken several jumps in between, and here we go again - just a few short days - and we’ll close our eyes tight, squeeze hands together and let go again!
